Upper Torwood This is just the authors name, it comes becuse it is just above Upper Torwood road in Rhu and is only recorded as part of the author walking the land.
The area looks to be old woodland, not regimented cash crop trees. The stones are interesting only in that they seem 'out of place' within the wooded area. Maybe worth further inspection.
